Clear-Vax set 53: US Navy, part 4 (1/48 scale)

1. McDonnell-Douglas A-4B/E Skyhawk. Suggested kits: Hobbycraft A-4 series.: The Clear-Vax canopy directly replaces the kit item.
We recommend the following cockpit detail sets to further enhance your A-4 models - Aires set 4109; Eduard set 358; Airwaves set 48032.

2. McDonnell-Douglas A-4C/K Skyhawk. Suggested kits: Hasegawa A-4 series.: The Clear-Vax canopy is separated for display in the open position.

3. McDonnell-Douglas A-4M Skyhawk. Suggested kit: Hobbycraft A-4M.: The Clear-Vax canopy directly replaces the kit item.

4. McDonnell-Douglas F-4 Phantom. Suggested kits: Hasegawa F-4 series.: The Clear-Vax canopies are sectioned for display in the open position. Use the kit centre section (part F3, shown arrowed in the drawing), since its complexity makes it unsuitable for vacform moulding.
We recommend the following cockpit detail sets to further enhance your F-4 kits - Black Box sets NN48051, BB48054; Aires set 4124; Eduard sets 48101, 48109, 48118, 48123; Verlinden set VL0510; Airwaves set 48013.

6. Grumman F-14 Tomcat. Suggested kits: Hasegawa F-14 series.: The Clear-Vax canopy is sectioned for display in the open position, and directly replaces the kit items.

8. North American T-28B Trojan. Suggested kit: Monogram T-28B.: The Clear-Vax canopies are sectioned for display in the open position. In order to fit the centre sliding canopy, carefully cut away the moulded-in sills from the kit fuselage. Note how the sliding canopies sit in relation to the fuselage.
We recommend Black Box cockpit set 48059.
